Safety

Western Heritage is an industry leader in developing and maintaining safety programs and standards.

Safety is an integral part of our corporate culture, forming part of each staff meeting and corporate newsletter. Our employees embrace the idea that doing a job well means doing a job safely.

Our commitment to safety includes:

• An active Occupational Health and Safety committee, with representatives from every region and job class
• Continually striving to improve our safety training, the safety of our workplace environments, our work procedures and corporate policies
• Employee safety training that meets or exceeds all government and client requirements

Since 2007, Western Heritage has maintained a Certificate of Recognition (COR) from Enform. The COR program recognizes employers who maintain a health and safety management system that meet or exceed established provincial standards.

 

Quality Assurance

Western Heritage manages quality across each of our disciplines through staff training and mentoring, and a rigorous internal review process. Project deliverables are reviewed by our senior management team, each member of which has over three decades of experience. We also use project specific quality processes to meet the needs of our clients.
